Film vs. Digital Wedding at Terrain Gardens at DelVal

For Becca + Tom’s big day, they opted to include a good chunk of film into their package. Six rolls of film later, and the results are in. When I shoot with film at a wedding, I always do a “safe shot” of the big moments (family portraits, “the kiss,” walking down the aisle, etc), then intermingle the film shots. But what does that look like? What’s the difference? Attached are side-by-side moments captured on film and digital. Which look do you prefer?

Film used: a mix of Kodak Gold 200, Portra 400, and Portra 800. Film developed by Indie Photo Lab and My Photo Lounge in Philadelphia, PA. Thank you to both for such great work and quick turnaround time!
